A Caboose or Brake Van is a vehicle on the end of a train which provided braking and a place for the guard to watch the train from. As radio technology improved in the late 20th century, these vehicles became obsolete.
Several of my GRFs include caboose vehicles, and freight trains may require a caboose before they will be allowed to leave the depot.
