Information
As the only one 100 seater, short-range aircraft, combined with low operating cost became the Dutch built Fokker 100 a success at its introduction in the late 1980’s. The Fokker 100 was a development of the Fokker 28 with longer fuselage, Rolls-Royce Tay turbofan engines and “glass cockpit”. The production ended in 1997 with 283 aircrafts built, caused by increased competition at the market for RJ's.
