[edit] Information
The Fokker Trimotor was a revolutionary aircraft when introduced, and was a favourite of explorers and long-distance pioneers. The first aircraft to fly across the Pacific Ocean was a Fokker F.VII.
Most F.VIIs were retired in the early 1930s, in favour of more modern all-metal aircraft.
