The wide-body, 4 engine, double-deck, Airbus A380 is the world's largest airliner, with a passenger capacity of 550 (in standard class configuration) up to 853 (in all economy class configuration). The A380 is a direct competitor to the Boeing 747's monopoly on the high-capacity airliner market.
