Prototype informationThe Coriolis 'Gripper' was the first monorail locomotive designed and built exclusively for Lunar service. The prototypes were developed at the Coriolis Industries factory in Ontario, Canada in early 2045. Components were shipped to Luna by NASA heavy lift in late 2046. The Gripper is designed as a lightweight, relatively inexpensive locomotive for general purpose duties on Luna. |
