Small Airports (3-5)

Private

1910-1930

Earlybird Airstrip (1910-1940, 1x3)

Earlybird Airstrip is the smallest, most basic airport in the set. Aircraft land on the single runway, turn off, and taxi as far back as they can before stopping to load/unload. After loading, they will taxi as far towards the threshold as they can before moving onto the runway, turning and taking off.

Earlybird Airfield (1910-1940, 1x3)

Earlybird Airfield is similar to Earlybird Airstrip, except it has the addition of a hangar. Aircraft land on the single runway, turn off, and taxi as far back as they can before stopping to load/unload. Aircraft which cannot get on to the loading zone at all will taxi into the hangar and wait.

Dusty Airpark (1925-1940, 2x4)

A largish airport for the early days, Dusty's twin runways and four bays give it good throughput. However, its dirt runways are unsuitable for later larger aircraft.

1940-

Farm Airstrip (1940-, 1x3)

A private getaway for the aviation enthusiast

Tactical Airstrip (1940-, 1x5)

Strategic Airfield (1940-, 2x5)

Public

1910-1930

Crundon Airport (1925-1940, 1x4)

Triangle Airfield (1930-1960, 1x4)

A cheap and cheerful auxilary airfield, Triangle provides a handy drop-off point in out-of-the-way locations where full airport facilities are unnecessary.

1940-

Downtown Airfield (1940-, 1x4)

Municipal Airport (1940-, 1x5)

The Municipal Airport is the main "medium" airport in the set. It has 5 bays if built before 1960, after which it gains an additional (cargo preferred) terminal with two more.

Local Airport (1960-, 1x3)

Large Airports (6-7)

Private

Public
