The North American Renewal Set takes several grf parameters. The parameters should be entered with a space between each number;
- after the grf filename in newgrf.cfg for TTDP
- by clicking the "parameters" button in the newgrf window in OTTD
GRF Parameters
Number | Function | Details |
---|---|---|
0 | Running sounds | Running sounds (but not custom horn sounds) are disabled if set to 1 |
1 | climate availability; add the numbers together | 1 = Temperate 2 = Arctic 4 = Tropic |
2 | Livery cycle | Normally, player 1 gets livery variation 1, player 2 gets livery variation 2, etcera. The value of this parameter is added to the player number; ie, if this parameter is set to 2, then player 1 will get livery variation 3. |
3 | Miscellaneous features; add the numbers together | 1 = some company coloured boxcars from 1920 (instead of all brown) 2 = Canadian version 4 = maglev runs on standard maglev track in OTTD (it's a monorail by default, because I prefer those graphics) 8 = Disable forced deactivation if other sets loaded in OTTD. |
So, for example, 0 7 3 6 would result in the running sounds being enabled, the grf available in all climates, player 1 with livery 4, the Canadian version activated, and maglev on maglev track.
